PROFESSIONAL PATH

Traveling is my biggest love, along with Computer Science, so meeting new cultures and people and learning new languages is the best for me. I am an open-minded person and I feel like a citizen of the world.

The combination of my solid background in Software Engineering and my fast adaptability makes me the suitable candidate as I can learn any new technology quickly and be productive from an early time in any kind of environment. Full Stack Web Developer in the Web Team of International Relations Department at CERN, the team responsible for managing the core website of CERN and a set of official CERN websites.

The project I worked on:

  • Creating CRUD web application for a Business Registry.

My role:

  • Full stack web development for the whole application using the MVC pattern.
  • Design and implementation of the database (designed the entity relationship diagram (ERD) using Lucidchart and created the IBM db2 database on a Windows Server VM).
  • Building RESTful Web Service Application using Java and Spring Boot and deploy it into TomCat server on a linux Red Hat vm.
  • Creating forms and tables (react-table) in React for viewing/editing/creating operations for all the entities in the database, using Bootstrap and Material-UI libraries.
  • Implementing export to pdf and csv functionalities for information about businesses and financial reports, using open source libraries in React like react-csv and jspdf.
